The Disney Look plays an essential role in how Disney treats its guests. However, Disney is now becoming more accommodating by allowing men to have beards and goatees and letting women wear nail polish, as part of their efforts to foster diversity and inclusion.
tattoos: Allowing Self-Expression
Disneyland’s tattoo policy used to be very strict, but it has been changed to promote diversity in the workforce and accommodate cast members’ desires for visible tattoos and gender-inclusive hairstyles. Offensive language, symbols, and nudity are not allowed in the tattoos. For larger tattoos on the arms, employees can wear matching fabric sleeves to cover them. The policy also allows well-maintained nail polish in single-color or French manicure styles.
Piercings: Connecting with Beloved Disney Characters

Wearing a tattoo featuring these beloved icons can help cast members remember fond memories and show their fondness for these characters to others. The Disney Tattoo Policy permits visible tattoos that are no larger than the size of one hand extended with fingers held together, with the exception of tattoos on the head or neck. Employees can use matching fabric tattoo sleeves to conceal their ink.
