Worst Tattoos of All Time

Tattoo trends come and go, but poor ink can remain. From misspellings to poor design or wrong placement, cringeworthy Tattoos remain.

Megan Massacre and Jeremy Swan on Regrettable Tattoos

Megan Massacre and Jeremy Swan, stars of NY Ink, visit individuals with regrettable tattoos they regret getting, offering creative solutions that cover up mistakes with new designs that subtly disguise old ink.

Snatch

Tattoos can be a fantastic way to express yourself or commemorate an important event, but they can also be regrettable decisions that will last a lifetime. Here are some cliched tattoos you should avoid getting.

Even though Snatch features an intricate plot, which may warrant multiple viewings, its real focus lies elsewhere: Guy Ritchie’s fast editing and fractured storytelling work perfectly alongside its ensemble cast of eccentric characters and lowlife gangsters.

Tattoo Fails

Tattoos can range from spelling errors to an awkward placement or something much worse; these mistakes are among the worst ever witnessed.

Young People and Costly Ink Mistakes

She says young people often make costly ink mistakes without even considering the consequences, which she calls “very self-indulgent.”

Tattoos to Avoid

Tattoos that feature anything from dandelion stalks and feathers to the name of your ex will always leave us cringing in horror, no matter their level of humor. All are sure to leave an imprint upon us for eternity.

Justice League

Tattoos of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got this tattoo to represent their love; unfortunately, when their relationship ended soon after getting it done, the tattoo became more of a reminder of its failure than of family history. Thank goodness it was covered up on “America’s Worst Tattoos,” a show where people with embarrassing ink are helped cover them up by NY Ink artists (watch an episode here).

Alpha Dog

Tattoos that stand out for being subpar, whether due to poor skills, ideas, or execution, merit a permanent spot on every worst list ever. Cover-ups are worse than this, though, which often worsen than their original version!

Brock Lesnar, known for his WWE fame and an eye-catching sword-like tattoo on his lower back that doesn’t resemble one but has instead been likened to far more disturbing imagery, stands out.

Elysium

In Greek mythology, Elysium is an imagined realm where only those deemed worthy will find eternal blissful life after death. Additionally, Honda produced a minivan bearing this name, which also features as the name for an atmospheric metal band called Elysium.

Anatomical Tattoo Challenge

As part of the Elimination Challenge, tattooists had to design and ink an anatomical piece from medical terminology for this event. Craig ultimately won, while Ally and Maddie were eliminated due to a lack of texture in their works.

Kyle’s tattoo featured excellent blending and shading but inconsistent line work, leaving it unfinished. Joey’s non-anatomical piece lacked detail, while ES’s was unintentionally hidden within its design.

Hangover Tattoos

Tattoos are meant to be permanent, but when drunk people go too far, they risk endowing themselves with lasting reminders of a night they would rather forget – such as waking up with an embarrassing hangover tattoo to remind them of it all!

Cringe-Inducing Drunken Tattoos

From Angelina Jolie’s Billy Bob tribute to their ex-husband to Steve-O’s creepy tributes to former partners, an array of cringe-inducing drunken tattoos is available for choice.

Getting inked while drunk may seem foolish, but that doesn’t make it any less amusing! In Magaluf, tourists have shared photos of the permanent results of an evening on the town – from bulls battling each other to Who’s Wally appearing on someone’s bottom!
