How to Deal With Normal tattoo Peeling

If you’re getting a tattoo, one of the first things you’re likely to notice is that the skin around the ink will start peeling. This is a natural process, and it will keep your ink looking fresh and new for a few weeks. The first few days of peeling may be slick, shiny, and even a little brighter than before, but don’t worry, it’s completely normal.

You may have already noticed some peeling after getting a new tattoo. During this phase, the ink will start to push up into the upper layers of skin, making it look dull and scaly. This is completely normal and will disappear after the peeling phase. A few of the flakes will contain some ink, but the majority will not be. The color of the ink will return after the peeling phase.
