Piercing Aftercare
A newly pierced body part requires special care to heal properly. Without the correct aftercare, your piercing may become infected, painful, and take longer than necessary to heal.

Once you’ve cleaned your piercing, gently pat the area dry with clean paper towels to prevent bacteria from developing and leading to infection. Alternatively, use a hair dryer on the relaxed setting for hands-free drying that won’t move jewelry or irritate the piercing.
After your piercing has healed, apply a thin layer of artist-approved aftercare product or unscented lotion to moisten it. Do this twice daily for several days to help your piercing heal faster and allow you to wear jewelry again without any issues. Do not twist or remove your piercing during this period of healing.
